Christine Sinclair scored her first international goal at the age of 16, competing in the 2000 Algarve Cup. Since then, she has become the all-time leading scorer in the history of international soccer. She’s been named Canadian Female Soccer Player of the Year 14 times, nominated seven times for FIFA Women’s World Player of the Year, and, as the captain of the Canadian Women’s Soccer Team, has won three Olympic medals, including a history-making gold medal at the Tokyo 2020 Games.
